Wow. What can I say? What a wedding! 

I had the absolute pleasure of travelling back to my home county of Cornwall last weekend to shoot the wedding of Jenna & David Wellington. I love to go back to Cornwall when I get the time, but it's always extra special travelling back for wedding videography purposes. 

Myself and the superb Alex Toze Wedding Photographer travelled down to St Kew on the Thursday before the wedding, to attend the rehearsal, see the venues, chat over the plans for the day and generally get to know the bride and groom a little. It became immediately apparent that this wedding was going to be FUN, and a massive celebration. 

The day started off at the lucky couple's home to shoot the groom and groomsmen preparations, then on to a beautiful country holiday let to join the ladies and shoot the bridal preparations. The ceremony took place in the beautifully quaint village church in St Kew, and then on to Mr Wellington's farmland for a reception, where they had set up a marquee with a wealth of personal touches. These guys really knew how to party. We had sunshine, thunderstorms, live music from the amazing Josh Curnow (Britain's Got Talent Semi-Finalist 2016), a DJ, fireworks, and even dancing on the bar. 

A nicer group of people to film I could not have asked for. Alex and I had a truly amazing time and I'd like to say a huge thank you to Jenna and David for making us feel part of the gang. I had real fun making this highlights teaser and tried really hard to get the feel of the day across in the film. When you get to shoot weddings like this, being a wedding videographer really is the best job in the world.
