Wow. What a year. Where do I even begin?

2019 was a massive year for me, in so many ways. Both in work and my personal life too.

So many incredible moments, memories, people and places. In fact, far too many to mention in one short video.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made 2019 possible, all those I passed along the way. To all the couples that entrusted me with the production of your wedding film, the biggest day of your lives, and to those I have to look forward to in 2020 and 2021, thank you.

To my wonderful friends and family, thank you. Without you I simply couldn’t do what I do, and wouldn’t be who I am today. Your support and guidance is of such value to me and I cannot thank you all enough. You know who you are!

I had the true honour and privilege of capturing so many incredible weddings last year. I’ve met lovely people from so many walks of life, and experienced truly magical new locations. In 2019 I feel like my wedding videography and filmmaking has gone from strength to strength. I feel like I am now finding my true voice in what is a genuinely talented and competitive arena. It was also the year that I started to diversify and expand into other areas. Whilst my heart will always be firmly rooted in wedding filmmaking, I am also passionate about other types of work. I love to tell stories of all kinds. My YouTube Channel started to pick up some real traction, and I forced myself out of my comfort zone by putting myself in front of the camera as well as behind it. It was the year I turned 30, and had the pleasure of celebrating not just my own, but the 30th of some of my closest friends too. I had a few truly memorable trips away with some of my nearest and dearest, including Marbella and an amazing trip to Dublin, Ireland. And I also hit a huge milestone; as of this year I have officially spent half of my entire life as the drummer in our busy function band, Eventine.

I also have a big personal announcement to make. Christmas 2019 will always be extra special to me, as it was the year that I too got engaged to be married. I am absolutely made up. I’d like to say thank you to my incredible wife to be, for putting up with the endless talk about filmmaking, the long hours editing late into the night, and the fact that I’m effectively absent at certain times of year, with dozens of film jobs and live gigs. Thank you, and I love you.

2019 was massive, but 2020 is set to be even bigger. The last couple of years feel like they have come out of nowhere, but now is the time to step it up another gear. I’m so excited to show you what I have in store. Watch this space!

So here’s my short end of year film, featuring some of my favourite moments from 2019. There were far too many to include as you will see, but I hope you enjoy it!

Finally I’d like to wish you all a massive Happy New Year. I hope 2020, the start of a brand new decade, is extra special for you too.

Much love, Tommy
