I can honestly say, Joanne & Matt's wedding is up there with my favourite weddings ever. 

English Groom + Scottish Bride = plenty of banter and even a Braveheart reference for good measure!

Jo's friends and family brought a lovely piece of Scotland to Devon. Not only did we have great weather, the awesome Rockbeare Manor, a bouncy castle, kids with insane acrobatic skills, Scottish dancing and one of the funniest groom speeches I’ve ever heard, but I also had the pleasure of working with the talents and friends that are Alex Toze Wedding Photographer and Phil Smyth Music and Entertainment.

Jo and Matt were an amazing bride and groom to work with and I’d like to say a massive thanks to them for being so awesome. So much fun and laughter, I simply couldn’t have asked for more. Here’s to you guys!

The English/Scottish theme was very much a big part of the day. So I just had to play with this a little. I'm a big fan of Celtic culture and loved the Scottish element of Matt & Jo's day. The Scottish dance 'Strip The Willow' was a real highlight for me. I hope you enjoy the preview of their wedding film. Be sure to wait for that switch up towards the end!
