Last weekend I had the honour of filming Sophie & Mike’s Somerset Wedding at the stunning Orchardleigh House. What a day it was. The Orchardleigh Estate is a truly beautiful wedding venue and the weather could not have been better. It felt like mid summer not April! I absolutely loved the many Celtic influences and the lads looked superb in their kilts and Scottish attire. Combined with a piper and Celtic harpist (rocking the Braveheart Theme!), there was plenty of culture for me to make use of. As a couple, Sophie and Mike were amazing. I really couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple to spend the day with. Thank you both!

Us Wedding Videographers do get to visit some beautiful places, that’s for sure. Orchardleigh is an exclusive estate nestled in the Somerset countryside, just outside of Frome. Surrounded by picturesque fields, a lake and golf course, it has so much to offer. Sophie and Mike chose the amazing orangery and walled garden for their big day. I really hope to return soon as the venue was just perfect for wedding videography. It’s always nice to venture out of Devon and Cornwall and seen new places. I also had the pleasure of working with a new photographer - Fiona Walsh. I’d definitely recommend checking her out as she produces some lovely work!
