CINEMATIC DRONE FOOTAGE - HALDON BELVEDERE, DEVON

I’m currently in the process of gathering footage for a client’s commercial project, which so far has taken me all over the region.

This week, I took an early morning trip up to Haldon Belvedere with the intention of catching a sunrise. I’d also seen there was fog forecast and was hoping to see some cool weather conditions. Needless to say I wasn’t disappointed! In fact, it took my breath away and I can honestly say it was the most awe inspiring scenery that I’ve shot with my drone to date. I’ve flown my drone in this particular area many times before, but on this occasion the combination of the golden sunrise emerging from behind a thick sea of fog, really was on another level. It just goes to show how genuinely stunning Devon can be and how lucky we are to live in the Westcountry.

Haldon Belvedere is a very special building high up in Haldon Forest, overlooking Exeter and the surrounding area. For those that are interested, they do also do weddings and if you’re looking for somewhere stunning to have your official wedding ceremony - it really doesn't get much more spectacular than this. I highly recommend you check it out!
