Wow. What a day. Stacy and Kyle’s stunning wedding in Cornwall gave me the feels. Proper!

Stacy and Kyle chose the lovely Scorrier House near Redruth for their special day. This was my first visit to Scorrier, and what a lovely place it is. Currently living in Plymouth, which is on the Devonian side of the Tamar River (just), Stacy told her mum that she just had to get married in Cornwall. As a Cornishman myself living in Devon, I completely understand Stacy!!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a huge smile and welcomed in by the bridal party. I could instantly tell this was going to be a great day. Stacy and Kyle didn’t disappoint. I really couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple to spend the day with. There was buckets of emotion during the ceremony and speeches, and some beautiful wedding vows which they wrote themselves. This was a really lovely personal touch. To brides and grooms to be, I would definitely recommend writing your own wedding vows. Not only is it lovely on the day to tell your husband/wife to be exactly why you love them and your vows for the future, but it also adds buckets of personality to a wedding film.

The guys had plenty planned for the rest of the day, with a band, DJ, sparklers, fireworks, topped off with Philps pasties from Hayle. Ansum! But despite there being plenty going on, the day had a beautifully relaxed feel to it. What a lovely day and I’d like to say a huge thanks to the lucky couple for allowing me to be part of it all.
