A Wedding Film Ending Sequence

I’ve recently received a number of messages from people wanting to find out more about how I go about wedding filmmaking. I really appreciate the interest some of you are showing, so thank you.  I seem to be receiving questions mainly relating to how I approach the wedding shoot, and also how I piece together the film.  So I thought it would be nice to do a few blog posts now and then touching on these subjects, to give those who are interested a bit of insight into my work. Going forward, I will be breaking down some of my previews as well as a few short sequences from full wedding films. This is for anyone who might want to know more about wedding filmmaking, or have a general interest in video production. To start with, I will be writing a post shortly breaking down the elements that went into this ending sequence from Kerry & Oli’s Wedding Feature Film. If there is anything specific about the production you would like to know, please do let me know and I’ll be sure to cover it in a future post.

Kerry & Oli got married in the beautiful Cotswolds. This was my first wedding in Gloucestershire and I really enjoyed shooting the new location. The ceremony took place in a beautiful village church in Chipping Campden, and then the reception was held in a marquee in the grounds of Norton Grounds Farm, a few minutes from Chipping Campden. It was a stunning day with beautiful weather and I have to say, I do enjoy a good marquee wedding!

Here is the ending sequence from their wedding film. I wanted it to provide buckets of atmosphere and end on an epic note. I hope you enjoy this short clip and do stay tuned to hear more about how I approach it.
