JOSH CURNOW - HAD ENOUGH

Last year at a wedding in Cornwall, myself and wedding photographer Alex Toze met a chap called Josh Curnow. His acoustic rendition of 'Stand By Me' had just boomed through the church and it absolutely stunned me. I soon learnt that he had been a semi-finalist of Britain's Got Talent which was very cool. Over the months that followed I got to know him and eventually we arranged for me to shoot the official video for 'Had Enough', the first to be released track on his debut album 'RISE'. Josh was quite insistent that it had to be me, which was extremely humbling coming from such a talent.

Josh is not only one of the most talented people I know, but he also happens to be one of the nicest. A genuinely humble, down to earth and lovely guy. As a musician myself, I have the upmost respect for those who pursue their dream of becoming an original artist and try to make their own music pay their bills. In this day and age it seems like an almost impossible task to 'make it' and it's fair to say Josh has faced far more than his fair share of challenges. His absolute commitment, hard work and determination to make it happen in the face of so many hurdles is truly admirable. I know I'm not alone in believing he deserves all the success in the world.

The video was shot over the course of two days in Exeter, Devon and Perranporth, Cornwall. As well as wedding videography, music videos are a real passion of mine. Combining by love for filmmaking with my love for music is really quite special.

So here is the finished product. As the first track from his debut album to be released, it was a real honour to be able to produce it. I think you will all agree it's one hell of a tune and I really hope the video we produced does it justice.
